Help with Data Uploading Have you pre-registered with us? Once you have submitted your application to participate and we have you set up on our system, you will be sent a username and password. Files must be uploaded as either Microsoft Excel (*.xls) or Comma Delimited (*.csv)   Frequently Asked Questions - TAD Project Why the TAD Project? Since the insurance industry isn’t run the same as the securities world, disclosures aren’t as strict. There is no central data depository requiring Insurers to disclose their EIA renewal histories. There is no requirement that IMOs disclose potential conflicts of interest with the EIA products they promote. We are doing the best we can to provide a central location for this information, and want to take whatever steps we can to support independent IMOs and insurers issuing quality EIA products with full disclosure.   What information is being gathered and compiled? For Insurance Companies: How many years offering EIAs How many products currently available EIA renewal rate histories on each product still supported For Insurance Marketing Organizations: How many years in business Potential conflicts of interest (ownership, exclusive distribution contracts, etc.) Breakdown of EIA premium placed, by insurer (percentage, not dollars) Staff demographics (years insurance sales experience, tenure, etc.) Types EIA sales assistance offered (training, case preparation, screening, etc.) Who will have access to this information? Our goal is "Transparency and Disclosure". However, each person requesting to access our TAD Project data will be required to register and provide information about themselves.
